Gov Soludo Warns Against Levy Collection from Anambra Traders

Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, warned against the collection of levies from petty traders in the state. Governor Soludo issued the warning during an endorsement rally at Solution Stadium in Ekwulobia.

He emphasized the need for local authorities to stop collecting fees from traders, especially those with capital less than one hundred thousand naira, contrary to government directives. Soludo reaffirmed his commitment to protecting the livelihood of petty traders and urged the community's support.

The Governor proposed the establishment of a dedicated town planning committee to facilitate growth in Ekwulobia, emphasizing the importance of municipal reform for the city's development.
