Governor Adeleke Raises Alarm Over Bandit Infiltration into Osun State, Calls for Stronger Military Action

Governor Adeleke of Osun State has expressed alarm over the infiltration of bandits from neighboring states, specifically Kwara, into Osun. He emphasized the need for sustained military operations along the state's borders to tackle the security challenges posed by banditry and kidnapping.

Adeleke commended the Nigerian Army for its efforts in maintaining peace and security across Nigeria. Special security operations have been deployed to border towns to contain banditry and kidnapping activities.

The governor called for continuous military presence to safeguard Osun State and prevent criminal exploitation of border areas.
