Bishop Okonkwo Urges Church-Government Collaboration on Nigerian Insecurity

Bishop Mike Okonkwo of TREM emphasized the need for the church to support the government in tackling insecurity in Nigeria at the Giant Killers Conference 2025 organized by Rev. Yomi Kasali in Lagos.

Okonkwo highlighted that while security is primarily the government's responsibility, the church must partner with the government to address the national security challenges. He stressed the importance of every level of governance playing its role effectively.

Additionally, Rev. Madubuko of Revival Assembly Ministries International echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the church's role in praying for leaders to take responsibility.

The call was made for a collaborative effort between the government and the church to combat insecurity effectively in Nigeria.
