Former President Donald Trump criticized the 2026 Grammy Awards, calling the ceremony virtual and unwatchable. He hinted at possible legal action against host Trevor Noah for jokes made during the broadcast.

Billie Eilish emerged as the winner of the Song of the Year. Trevor Noah, hosting for the sixth consecutive year, blended pop culture and current events in his opening monologue.

The Recording Academy did not comment on Trump's statements. The ceremony also featured a tribute to the late music icon Fela Anikulapo Kuti, who posthumously received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, becoming the first African to receive this honor since his death in 1997.
