RFM Calls for Probe into Wike and Fubara's Governments

The River First Movement (RFM), a political group, has demanded an independent investigation into the financial dealings of the governments of Nyesom Wike and Siminalayi Fubara in River State. In a press conference held in Port Harcourt, the group expressed concerns over the alleged mismanagement of state funds, claiming that trillions of naira have entered the state coffers during the tenures of both governors from May 29, 2015, to January 31, 2026.

The RFM criticized the accumulation of wealth by a few individuals at the expense of the citizens, leading to widespread poverty and a deteriorating socio-economic situation in the state. They emphasized the need for transparency and accountability, urging the people of River State to join their mission to restore the state's former glory.

The group condemned the current political climate, which they believe has resulted in increased unemployment and a regression in the state's development.
