ARSPON Provides Free Surgical Interventions to Oyo Residents, Impacting Underprivileged Individuals

The Association of Rural Surgical Practitioners of Nigeria (ARSPON) successfully completed a free surgical outreach in Oyo, Nigeria, offering essential medical care to residents struggling with health conditions. Led by President Oyebola Adekola and National Secretary Dr.

Gafar Amoo, the initiative aimed to give back to the community and impact the lives of underprivileged individuals lacking access to quality surgical services. Over 100 individuals, including adults and children, underwent life-changing surgeries, such as hernia removals, at Momoh Hospital.

Bishop Ayo Ladigbolu emphasized the importance of supporting less privileged communities and discouraging young doctors from seeking opportunities abroad to prevent brain drain.
