This award allows Guardiola to surpass David Moyes, the former Manchester United manager, who previously shared the record with 11 awards.

Guardiola now sits alone in third place for the most Manager of the Month honors, trailing only Alex Ferguson and Arsène Wenger, who have 27 and 15 awards, respectively. Guardiola's recognition comes after a strong February campaign where Manchester City remained unbeaten, gathering momentum in the Premier League title race.

The run began with a draw against Tottenham Hotspur, followed by victories over Liverpool, Fulham, Newcastle United, and Leeds United, allowing City to climb the league table.
