Gunmen Kill Policeman and Abduct Expatriate in Oyo State, Police Launch Rescue Operation

Gunmen attacked Aqua Triton Company in Ogunmakin near Ibadan, Oyo State, killing a policeman and abducting a Chinese expatriate. The gunmen stormed the facility in a commando-style operation, injuring the expatriate.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, Olayinka Ayanlad, confirmed the incident, with the State Commissioner of Police, Femi Haruna, directing operations to rescue the victim and apprehend the perpetrators. The police have launched a full investigation and are conducting bush combing operations to ensure the safe rescue of the victim and the arrest of the kidnappers.
