Woodensky Pierre Secures Visa for Haiti's World Cup Bid

Woodensky Pierre, a midfielder for the Haitian national football team, has received visa approval, which is a significant boost for Haiti's preparations for the World Cup. The Haitian Football Federation's spokesperson, Thecieux Jeanti, confirmed that Pierre is currently training in Port-au-Prince while awaiting travel approval to join the rest of the squad in Florida.

Haiti's national team is set to gather in Florida on Tuesday for their World Cup preparations. The team is facing security concerns in Haiti, which has affected their ability to play home matches, including a recent qualifier against Curacao.

This will be Haiti's second appearance in the World Cup, with their last qualification occurring 50 years ago. Their campaign will kick off on June 13 against Scotland, followed by matches against five-time champions Brazil and Morocco.
