Ndidi Faces Extended Injury Layoff with Hamstring Strain

Wilfred Ndidi, a 26-year-old midfielder currently playing for Besiktas, is facing an extended spell on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury. The injury occurred during a training session ahead of a match against Fenerbahce, which resulted in a 1-0 loss for his team.

An MRI scan conducted at Altunizade Acibadem Hospital in Istanbul revealed that Ndidi has a bleed strain in his hamstring. This injury is particularly concerning as it is a recurrence; Ndidi has suffered from hamstring strains twice this season, causing him to miss four matches.

The medical team at Besiktas is closely monitoring his rehabilitation process. Ndidi has made 26 competitive appearances this season, contributing two goals and one assist in the Turkish Super Lig.
