Hayatu-Deen Joins ADC Presidential Race for 2027 Elections

Mohammed Hayatu-Deen has formally entered the presidential race for the 2027 general elections under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), having previously exited the People's Democratic Party. During an appearance on Arise Television on Tuesday night, he pledged to unite the country and implement comprehensive economic reforms to tackle Nigeria's ongoing struggles, particularly concerning insecurity and the escalating cost of living.

Hayatu-Deen highlighted the daily hardships faced by Nigerians, including rising food and petrol prices, and expressed concern over the deteriorating security situation, noting that the nation spends significant amounts on ransom payments while the naira continues to depreciate. He criticized the government's lack of urgency in addressing these issues and emphasized the need for credible leadership to restore public confidence and create jobs.

Hayatu-Deen called for unity within the ADC to present a strong alternative in the upcoming elections, aiming to provide a realistic path forward for Nigeria.
