Babachir Lawal Speaks Out on Absence at Atiku's ADC Registration

Babachir Lawal, a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation and a close ally of Atiku Abubakar, spoke out about his absence during Atiku's formal registration with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Jada, Adamawa State. Lawal cited a last-minute change in the ceremony date by Atiku as the reason for his inability to attend, expressing dissatisfaction with the disruption to his schedule.

He warned against misinterpreting his absence as a political observation and dismissed concerns about his distancing from the PDP presidential candidate turning ADC member.
