APC Mourns Loyal Chieftain Dr. Chamberlain Dunkwu

The All Progressives Congress (APC) mourned the passing of Dr. Chamberlain Dunkwu, a prominent party chieftain, who died at the age of 54.

In a statement released on Sunday from the party's national secretariat in Abuja, APC's Felix Morka described Dunkwu as an energetic, selfless, and loyal member who played a significant role in building and strengthening the party in his native Ika Federal Constituency. Dunkwu served as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abba, until his death on March 7, 2026.

He previously held the position of Special Adviser on Member Affairs to the Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila. Beyond his political contributions, Dunkwu was recognized for his philanthropic efforts and vibrant life of service, which created a significant impact both within and outside his homeland.

His passing has left a vacuum that will be difficult to fill, and the APC extended condolences to his immediate family and party members across the country during this mourning period.
