Nigerian Senator Akpabio Mourns Renowned Islamic Scholar Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi's Passing

Nigerian Senator Godswill Akpabio expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, a prominent Islamic scholar and leader of the Tijaniyyah movement in Nigeria. Akpabio extended condolences to the Bauchi State government, the Islamic community, and the family of the late cleric.

Sheikh Bauchi was praised for his commitment to teaching Islam and his positive influence on Islamic jurisprudence and spirituality across Nigeria. The late scholar, who passed away at the age of 98, is survived by 70 children, with his burial scheduled to take place in line with Islamic traditions.
