Remi Tinubu and Amina Mohammed Advocate Unity and Reform in Nigeria

At an event in Abuja, Remi Tinubu and Amina Mohammed delivered messages promoting unity, reform, and credible elections in Nigeria. Remi Tinubu, the wife of a senator and the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, stressed the need for national cohesion across ethnic and religious lines for a prosperous future.

She highlighted the importance of collective resolution and recognized the role of women and youth leaders in community development. Amina Mohammed, a key UN official, warned about rising geopolitical tensions globally and urged African leaders to strengthen institutions like the African Union and ECOWAS.

She emphasized the need for reform to align education and labor markets with current realities to secure Africa's future. The event also honored the late Sam Nda-Isaiah for his contributions to journalism and democracy.
