Caverton Marine Introduces Electrified Vessel for Sustainable Inland Water Transport in Nigeria

Caverton Marine in Nigeria has achieved a groundbreaking feat by launching an electrified vessel, the "Electr Omibu," in Lagos. This move signifies a major advancement in sustainable inland water transport, with the vessel being fully electric-powered, eliminating carbon emissions and reducing operational costs.

The initiative was a collaborative effort between Caverton Marine and the Lagos State Government, led by key figures like Olabodun Makanjuola and Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The vessel's innovative technology includes a battery management system, dual electric motors, and a modular lithium battery pack.
