Nigerian Athlete Tobi Amusan Breaks World Record, Wins Gold in 100m Hurdles

Nigerian female athlete Tobi Amusan made history by breaking the world record and winning the women's 100m hurdles at the World Athletics Championships in Oregon. Amusan emerged victorious with a time of 12.06 seconds, breaking the previous record of 12.20 seconds set in 2016 by Keni Harrison of the United States.

She received a cash prize of $100,000 for her victory and garnered widespread applause on social media. Other medalists included Britani Anderson from Jamaica and Jasmin Camacho Quinn from Puerto Rico.
