UBA Foundation Promotes Literacy Through National Essay Competition, 13-Year-Old Emerges as Winner

UBA Foundation's National Essay Competition aims to enhance literacy and critical thinking among Nigerian secondary school students. The competition has seen thousands of entries from across the country, fostering national consciousness and unity.

In its 15th edition, 13-year-old Ebunoluwa Seth Oluwatimilehin from Igando Community Senior High School emerged as the overall winner, breaking the trend of female dominance. UBA Foundation has steadily increased grant allocations, with the first-place prize now at N10 million.

The competition serves as a platform for youth empowerment and intellectual development, reaching students in both urban and rural communities.
