Jegede, who had a short-lived marriage with Olakunle Fawole that ended in 2019, mentioned that she believes marriage is not for everyone and highlighted financial instability as a significant factor in her decision.

She expressed skepticism about the institution of marriage and suggested that cohabitation might be a better option for some.
