Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde's Harrowing Encounter in Mushin

Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde shared a harrowing experience from her youth during an appearance on the Afropolitan show. At the age of 15, she ventured into the rough area of Mushin in Lagos State to seek financial assistance for her brother's school fees.

Surrounded by men known for lending money, she felt frightened but pleaded for help. Although the men eventually agreed to lend her the money, trouble arose when she was unable to repay the loan on time.

This situation escalated, leading to threats from the lenders. Upon returning home, the men confronted her family and took items from their house, including a television and a DVD player, as a means of recovering the owed money.
