Portable Demands DNA Test for Children Amid Support Dispute

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has requested DNA tests for the two children he has with actress Akinyanju Omobolarinde, also known as Ashabi Simple. This demand arose during a disagreement regarding the care and financial support of their children.

Portable stated on his Instagram that he wants the paternity of the children confirmed through DNA testing before he continues to provide financial support. Ashabi has accused Portable of failing to adequately support the children, claiming he has only provided ₦200,000 between January and September.

She has taken on the responsibility of paying their school fees for three terms and providing food and clothing. Ashabi expressed her desire for Portable to take a more active role in their children's welfare, while Portable questioned the children's paternity, asserting that their resemblance to him does not confirm he is their biological father.

He stated, “I cannot take care of another man child,” and demanded a DNA test.
