Mercy Eke: No Regular Cooking for Future Partner

Mercy Eke, the former winner of Big Brother Naija, expressed her views on relationships and domestic responsibilities during a recent episode of the Toke Moments podcast, hosted by Toke Makinwa. Eke stated that she cannot date or marry a man who expects her to cook for him regularly.

She emphasized that she only cooks occasionally, specifically when she is "in the mood." Eke remarked, "If you want fresh food every day, hire a chef," indicating that daily cooking is not something she is willing to do for a partner. She further clarified that love would not compel her to cook every day and noted that there are other women who may be willing to fulfill such expectations.

Eke advised that it is crucial to marry someone who aligns with one's personal preferences, stating, "That is why it’s important to marry ‘who has what you are looking for.’".
