Teni Shares Experience of Losing Two Nanny Jobs

Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, disclosed that she was sacked from two nanny jobs within a week due to her shyness and lack of cooking skills. In an interview with Queen’s Mic, Teni recounted her experiences, stating that she had applied for a nanny position where she claimed to be able to cook various meals, including jollof rice and fries.

However, when asked to prepare these dishes, she admitted to not being able to cook well, leading to her dismissal after just three days. Teni mentioned that her second job was with a doctor whose husband was Nigerian.

She expressed her disappointment and frustration at being fired, especially since she sought these jobs for extra funds while still in school. Teni reflected on her situation, questioning why she was facing such challenges despite her parents not pressuring her to work during her studies.
