Ex-Defence Chief Musa Retires After Decades of Service to Nigeria

Former Chief of Defence Staff, General Musa, retired after nearly four decades of service to Nigeria, expressing pride in his contributions to national security. He highlighted the importance of synergy among security agencies in combating terrorism and banditry.

Musa thanked President Tinubu for the opportunity to lead the armed forces and praised the sacrifices of soldiers in conflict zones. He urged continued collaboration for national security.

Musa joined the Nigerian Army almost four decades ago and rose through the ranks to become Chief of Defence Staff in June 2023.
