Obaseki's Cousin Humiliated by Thugs in Edo State Stripping Incident

Don Pedro Obaseki, cousin of former Edo State Governor Obaseki, was stripped naked by suspected political thugs in Benin City. The incident, captured in a video shared on Africa Independent Television, occurred around 11:30 am.

Don Pedro Obaseki, a member of Uwa Star Uwa Primary School in Benin, was assaulted, abducted, and dragged through the streets. He claimed the thugs acted on orders from the Oba of Benin's palace.

Police intervened, leading to his release. Don Pedro Obaseki expressed trauma over the incident, citing a statement made in London as the reason for the attack.
