Nathaniel Bassey, a Nigerian gospel singer, shared an experience during a worship session known as the Hallelujah Challenge, where he encountered a man who approached his car and began casting enchantments in an attempt to influence him. This incident marked the second time an individual had approached Bassey in such a manner.

In response to the man's actions, Bassey expressed laughter and referenced biblical verses to affirm his belief in divine protection, including a passage that emphasizes this belief. Eventually, Bassey stepped out of his car and ordered the man to leave immediately.

However, he later expressed regret for his decision to detain the man until the police arrived.
