Wike Celebrates Completion of Airport Expressway to Kuje

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), announced the completion of the 8.6-kilometer Airport Expressway to Kuje Town during its inauguration on Thursday. The project, which faced funding constraints, was awarded in February 2022.

Wike expressed gratitude for divine intervention, stating that he began fasting specifically for the road's completion, attributing the successful funding to prayer. He recounted the challenges faced with contractors and the urgency of the project, which was significant for the region.

Wike thanked President Bola Tinubu for his support and acknowledged the contractor, Arab Contractors Nigeria Limited, for their work on the project, which had a contract value of 54 billion naira. He encouraged the Minister of State to also pray for the road's completion, highlighting the importance of faith in overcoming obstacles.
