Laide Bakare Claims She Supported Eniola Badmus Financially

Laide Bakare, a Nollywood actress, disclosed in an interview with Oyinmomo TV that she provided financial assistance to her colleague Eniola Badmus during a time when Badmus struggled to secure acting roles due to her physical appearance. Bakare claimed she regularly gave Badmus money when others in the film industry were reluctant to cast her because of her body size.

She stated, “I use to give Eniola Badmus money very well when she was ugly and fat, I use to help her with money when nobody wanted to use her in their movies cos of her stature.” This revelation comes amid a public feud between the two actresses, with Bakare accusing Badmus of attempting to damage her reputation after Badmus reacted negatively when Bakare's name was mentioned on comedian Isbae U’s show.
