Oyewo, who joined the movie industry in 1964, gained popularity through his role in the film "God Not Blame Sango." He also served as a lecturer at Obafemi Awolowo University in Osun State from 1996 until his retirement in 2011. His health issues have led him to avoid certain roles in the film industry, as he navigates the challenges posed by his condition.
