Bala Mohammed Commends Tinubu for Security Support

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed expressed gratitude towards President Bola Tinubu for his prompt response to a plea for help in combating insecurity in the state. Mohammed revealed that Tinubu intervened when bandits threatened to overrun Bauchi, despite the governor being from an opposition party.

The president sent a high-powered military contingent, led by the National Security Adviser, along with various military services and security organizations. This intervention included the establishment of two battalions, one in Alkaleri and another in Tafawa Balewa.

Mohammed stated that this military support was crucial in removing over 100,000 individuals who were disrupting peace in the region. He emphasized that the people of Bauchi are grateful for Tinubu's assistance, which allowed displaced residents to return and participate in the farming season, marking a significant improvement in the state's security situation.
