Ibom Air Saga: I Was Assaulted, Stripped, Traumatised, Says Emmanson

Emmanson Chiemelie Ezeobi Wale Igbintade, released from Kirikiri Prison days ago, recounted a traumatic experience on an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos. He claimed to have been assaulted, stripped, and humiliated by a member of the cabin crew, Juliana, after a disagreement over switching off his phone.

Emmanson detailed how he was forcibly dragged, had his clothes torn, and his gold chain broken during the altercation. He described feeling dehumanized and exposed as passengers and crew surrounded him, recording the incident.

Emmanson's father demanded compensation from Ibom Air for the humiliating assault on his daughter. Emmanson expressed his distress over the incident, emphasizing the need for justice and redemption.

He clarified that the altercation was not politically motivated, urging people to understand the true nature of the incident.
