ICPC to Investigate Dangote's Corruption Allegations Against NMDPRA Boss

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) is set to probe corruption accusations made by Aliko Dangote against Farouk, the boss of NMDPRA. Dangote alleges that Farouk engaged in corrupt practices, including spending $7 million on his children's education in Switzerland without a legitimate source of income.

Dangote also accuses Farouk of regulatory failures in the downstream petroleum sector, hindering import licenses and frustrating local refineries. The ICPC will investigate these claims, which could lead to prosecution under the ICPC Act.
