ICRC and Power Ministry Collaborate to Boost PPP Projects

Dr. Jobson Ewalefoh, the Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), met with Mr. Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, the Minister of Power, to discuss strategic collaborations to advance Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects in Nigeria's power sector. The meeting, as disclosed by Ewalefoh on his X handle, focused on aligning strategies to attract private investment into key power infrastructure and enhance efficiency across the sector's value chain.

Ewalefoh emphasized the importance of the power sector for Nigeria's economic development and the need to review strategic roadmaps for attracting private investments. The discussions also aimed to strengthen collaboration between the ICRC and the Ministry of Power to accelerate infrastructure development through PPP arrangements.
