Hanks Anuku Declines to Date Nollywood Actresses

Hanks Anuku, a veteran Nollywood actor, revealed on the Honest Bunch Podcast that he will not date women from the Nigerian movie industry. He expressed discomfort with the lifestyle and activities prevalent in Nollywood, which have led him to distrust potential partners within the sector.

Anuku highlighted that the presence of flirtation and the manner in which some individuals gain entry into the industry have made it challenging for him to identify trustworthy partners. He noted a significant change in the industry, stating that while actors in his earlier years underwent rigorous screening processes, many now enter Nollywood due to connections with producers rather than merit.

Anuku remarked, “I’m not going to go out with anyone in the industry, I would rather go look for a stranger somewhere else,” emphasizing his concerns about the integrity of relationships formed within the industry.
