PDP Chieftain Ulasi Highlights Hope from Peter Obi

Dan Ulasi, a chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), stated that listening to former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi instills hope for Nigeria. Ulasi made these remarks during a private interview on Aris TV, emphasizing that Obi's vision could benefit the country.

He confirmed Obi's recent visit to Enugu, where he appeared with short notice and engaged with friends in the southeastern town. Ulasi reflected on Obi's political journey, recalling his time as chairman of the National Republican Convention when he ran for governor of Anambra State.

He criticized the current state of the PDP, particularly under the leadership of Nyesom Wike, suggesting that the party lacks credible candidates to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 elections. Ulasi's comments come amid growing frustrations within the PDP regarding its ability to mount a credible challenge against the current administration.
