Celtic Secures Scottish Cup Victory, Completes Double

Celtic won the Scottish Cup on Saturday, defeating Dunfermline 3-1 at Hampden Park, which completed a double for the season. The victory marked Celtic's 43rd Scottish Cup success and was achieved under the interim management of Martin O'Neill, who has now secured nine major honors with the club.

Celtic took a two-goal lead by halftime, with Daizen Maeda scoring the first goal in the 19th minute and Engel adding a second with a powerful strike from 25 yards in the 36th minute. Kelechi Iheanacho extended the lead in the 72nd minute, showcasing impressive footwork to evade defenders and slot the ball home after receiving a pass from Benjamin Nygren.

Josh Cooper scored a late consolation goal for Dunfermline in the 79th minute. This victory capped an incredible end to the season for Celtic, who had recently clinched the Scottish Premiership title.
