Ikoyi Club 1938 Ladies’ Golf Section Marks 50th Anniversary with International Tournament

Ikoyi Club 1938 Ladies’ Golf Section celebrated its 50th anniversary with a tournament from November 11 to 15, 2025. The event aimed to highlight the skills and resilience of lady golfers across Africa.

The tournament, themed "Go Beyond Golf," attracted over 200 participants from various African countries, including Kenya, Uganda, and Ghana. The Ladies Captain, Peggy Onwu, emphasized the event's significance in showcasing the organizational abilities of female golfers.

The tournament marked a milestone in Nigeria's golfing landscape, with an international flair expected to draw significant attention. The event also featured the unveiling of a special 50th-anniversary logo.
