Ikoyi Ladies Open Golf Tournament Set for November 2026

The 51st edition of the Ikoyi Ladies Open golf tournament is set to occur from 11th to 13th November 2026 at Ikoyi Club 1938. Organisers promise a world-class event, with a press conference attended by key club officials, including Golf Club Captain Mr Afolabi Balogun and Lady Captain Mrs Annie Enikhenena.

The theme for this year is “Enjoy Golf, Go Global,” focusing on exposing local golfers to international standards. Enikhenena emphasized the club's commitment to including under-resourced players and creating opportunities for young women and female caddies.

The tournament will feature participants from various Nigerian states and international entries from countries such as Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Italy, and France. Dr (Mrs) Karin Ekpe, Chairperson of the Organising Committee, noted the event's World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) status, allowing amateur golfers to compete for world ranking points.

The tournament schedule includes three days of competition, culminating in a gala night, with the overall gross winner receiving a Business Class ticket to the United States from United Airlines.
