Okezie Ikpeazu Denies Defection to APC and Fund Diversion Claims

Former Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has strongly denied reports of defecting to the APC and dismissing claims of diverting funds amounting to 1.9 trillion. He clarified that he remains a committed member of the PDP and attended recent party meetings.

Ikpeazu also refuted allegations of corruption, stating that there is no pending corrupt case against him. The allegations of diversion were linked to a KPMG report, which Ikpeazu clarified did not indict him.

He urged newspapers to publish accurate information.
