Bwala Addresses Interview Controversy on Tinubu's Leadership

Daniel Bwala, a special adviser on media and policy, addressed the controversy stemming from an interview where he was questioned about Nigeria's security situation, which has been described as dire, with Nigeria ranking as the fifth deadliest country in the world. During the interview, Bwala denied having knowledge of negative occurrences in the country, which led to public outrage.

He acknowledged the implications of working for President Bola Tinubu and stated that he is proud to defend and promote Tinubu's administration. Bwala expressed embarrassment when questioned about his past criticisms of Tinubu's decisions and clarified that the interviewer, Mehdi Hasan, failed to mention his plans to challenge past criticisms.
