Carter Efe Declares 'Carter Mayweather' After Boxing Win

Carter Efe, a social media comedian and streamer, won a celebrity boxing match against street artist Portable on a Friday night at Balmor Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. Following his victory, Efe proclaimed himself "Carter Mayweather" during a post-fight interview, drawing comparisons to renowned boxer Floyd Mayweather.

The match concluded with a unanimous decision in favor of Efe, who dominated the three rounds, leaving little doubt about the outcome. Efe's performance resulted in swelling Portable's face in the first round, with the latter falling in the third round.

Efe received a financial pledge of N50 million from businessman Emeka E. Monei Okonkwo, who confirmed his commitment to the pre-fight agreement.

Despite the loss, Portable expressed his disappointment on Instagram, claiming the result was unjust and accusing Efe of exploiting his height advantage. Portable also mentioned the birth of his child on the same night, stating it outweighed the significance of the boxing belt.
