Peller Clarifies No Endorsement in Livestream with Obi
Nigerian TikToker Peller has responded to inquiries regarding his interaction with Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). Obi reached out to Peller to discuss plans for a livestream on Peller's platform.
Peller clarified that this interaction should not be interpreted as an endorsement of Obi or any presidential candidate. He stated that his intention is solely to host Obi for a livestream session where fans can ask questions.
During a livestream on Wednesday night, Peller expressed his excitement about Obi's request, saying, “I woke up this morning smiling. Peter Obi reached out to me that he want to do a livestream with me.” He further distanced himself from political campaigns, asserting that he is not asking his followers to vote for Obi, emphasizing that the livestream is simply a platform for interaction.
