Kwankwaso's Ally Jibrin Considers Leaving NNPP Amid Political Loyalty

A close ally of former Governor of Kano State, Kwankwaso, Jibrin, revealed in an interview that he is old enough to take a stand independently. Jibrin, a lawmaker, expressed his loyalty to Kwankwaso and his involvement in the Kwankwasiyya movement.

He mentioned utilizing resources to support the movement and secure a return to the Senate in 2023. Despite his respect for Kwankwaso, Jibrin hinted at the possibility of leaving the NNPP party.

Jibrin's history includes being suspended from the House of Representatives in 2016 for accusing the House leadership of budget padding.
