Accord Party Expels Imumolen, Absorbs Supporters Amidst Allegations

The Accord Party in Nigeria has officially declared the expulsion of former presidential candidate Prof. Christoph Imumolen due to alleged gross misconduct and anti-party activities.

The party's leadership, led by Barrister Maxwell Mgbudem, emphasized unity and firm recognition of INEC's national chairman. Imumolen's expulsion was clarified during a press conference, with accusations of spreading misinformation and attempting to destabilize the party.

Despite absorbing Imumolen's supporters, the party maintains a stable stance and focuses on upcoming elections, including the Osun governorship race and the 2027 general elections.
