Imo Assembly Urges Gov Uzodinma to Implement Free Education

The Imo State House of Assembly has called on Governor Hope Uzodinma to introduce free and compulsory education at the primary and secondary levels in state public schools. The motion, moved by member Chisom Ojukwu, aims to ensure every child has access to education as mandated by the constitution.

The initiative also includes promoting digital literacy and establishing a student loan scheme. The Assembly emphasized the need for a sustainable education trust fund and a ten-year development plan to improve learning conditions and secure a brighter future for Imo children.
