Senator Ndume Urges Inclusion of Northeast in 2025 Supplementary Budget

Senator Ali Ndume of Borno South urged President Bola Tinubu to include the Northeast in the 2025 supplementary and 2026 budgets to address infrastructural challenges post-terrorism. Ndume emphasized the need for special projects to develop the region, highlighting the importance of prioritizing Northeast's development.

The appeal comes amidst Tinubu's visit to the Northeast governor in Abuja. Ndume stressed the urgency for meaningful infrastructural development in the region to combat the aftermath of insurgency.

He called for immediate provisions in the upcoming budgets to address the pressing infrastructural needs of the Northeast.
