NSCDC Deploys 4,500 Personnel for FCT Independence Day Security

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 4,500 personnel in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) ahead of Independence Day celebrations. The deployment aims to ensure the security of lives, properties, and critical national assets.

The personnel, including female officers and specialized units like the Strike Force and Arms Squad, will cover vulnerable locations such as shopping malls, recreational centers, and government buildings. Dr.

Odumosu emphasized the need for proactive measures to prevent emergencies and security breaches. Undercover units are already conducting covert operations to maintain surveillance in high-risk areas.

The deployment is part of efforts to enhance security and prevent any unforeseen circumstances during the celebrations.
