INEC Excludes Pantami from Gombe Governorship Candidates List
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially removed Professor Isa Ali Pantami from its portal as the governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe State. This decision was reflected in the final list of candidates for the 2027 governorship election, which was released by INEC on Saturday.
Notably, Pantami's name was absent from this list, raising questions about his candidacy. Attempts to obtain comments from officials of the PDP state chapter and Pantami's campaign organization were unsuccessful, as no representatives were willing to provide a statement at the time of reporting.
