Information Minister Praises NTA Studio and Press Centre

On Monday, the Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, inspected the newly completed world-class television studio at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Headquarters and the ongoing upgrade of the National Press Centre in Abuja. He described these projects as evidence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to modernizing Nigeria’s public information infrastructure.

Idris stated that the NTA studio ranks among the best in Africa and is part of a broader investment program across various government media organizations, including the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Voice of Nigeria (VON), and News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). He emphasized that the reforms extend beyond infrastructure to include improved content and human capacity development.

The Minister also mentioned the Digital Switch Over (DSO) program as a significant milestone in the broadcasting industry. Following his inspection, he expressed satisfaction with the renovation progress at the National Press Centre, which aims to become a modern media hub for journalists.
