The Macallan Hosts Exclusive After-Party for Adekunle Gold's Historic National Theatre Concert

The Macallan organized a lavish after-party for Adekunle Gold's groundbreaking concert at the newly renovated Wole Soyinka Centre for Creative Arts at the National Theatre in Lagos on December 26, 2025. The event showcased Adekunle Gold's performance with a 55-piece orchestra and his band, 79th Element, highlighting his Afrobeat artistry.

The exclusive party, hosted by the luxury Scottish whisky brand, featured a black-tie dress code, top-tier entertainment by DJ Uch Briggs and others, and a guest list comprising Nigeria's creative elite and industry tastemakers. Ham Adebiyi, Senior Brand Manager of Edrington, presented Adekunle Gold with a special Macallan 25-year-old Sherry Oak whisky, symbolizing craftsmanship and excellence.
